One of our favorite projects is getting to help schools create an identity that students and staff can rally behind. That’s exactly what we had the opportunity to do with Youngsville Elementary School.

The goal wasn’t just to make a new logo—it was to create something that would help strengthen the school’s identity and give everyone a symbol they could be proud to wear on a t-shirt, see on a banner, or recognize around campus.

After talking through the school’s vision, we created a new Junior Jaguar mascot that gives Youngsville Elementary a bold, memorable identity. The jaguar brings energy and personality to the school’s brand while giving students a mascot they can connect with and cheer for.

We wanted the new logo to be clean, versatile, and easy to recognize across everything from spirit wear and school signage to social media and printed materials. Most importantly, we wanted it to feel like something that belonged to Youngsville Elementary and its students.

We believe a great logo does more than look good. It creates pride, builds recognition, and helps tell the story of the people it represents. That’s especially important for schools, where a strong visual identity can bring students, teachers, parents, and the community together.

Projects like this are always rewarding because they’re about more than design—they’re about creating something meaningful that people can connect with every day.

We’re grateful to Youngsville Elementary for trusting Vast Design with their new identity, and we’re excited to see the Junior Jaguar become part of the school’s story for years to come.
